Kylie graduated with a Bachelor of Chiropractic from the NZ College of Chiropractic in 2002 after completing a Bachelor of Science majoring in Physiology at Auckland University. Kylie studied for 7 years at University and is especially educated and trained to deal with conditions affecting the nerves, spine and all joints of the body. Post graduate studies include Applied Kinesiology, and Extremity adjusting. She has received further training in Paediatric and Pregnancy care, and keeps up with ongoing research and techniques.
Kylie had found a profession for which she has a passion after first being introduced to chiropractic following a snowboarding accident when she was 16 years old. Like so many, pain is what first drew her to seek chiropractic care. Chiropractic not only resolved her problem, but taught her that Chiropractic care was more than just about relieving pain, but also about the well being of the human nervous system. This inspired her to become a chiropractor herself soshe could help people with their health issues.
A keen sportsperson herself she also enjoys providing chiroporactic care to a variety of athletes.
Kylie offers a wide range of chiropractic techniques such as SOT, Activator, Drop Table, Diversified, Gonstead and Trigger Point Therpy. She thoroughly enjoys providing gentle and natural chiropractic care to a broad range of people from newborns to the elderly.
As a mother herself, Kylies passion is both pregnancy, paediatric care, and rehabilitation work, getting to the cause of the problem and varying techniques to suit the age and needs of each individual. Working with newborn babies, children, pregnant women, sports people and adults of all ages including the elderly. Kylie is excited by how rapidly babies respond, and believes chiropractic is a safe and natural way to help children develop to their full potential. Her continuing interest is with family and rehabilitation care, often working with referrals from midwives, offering specialised pregnancy techniques.
